Salient CRGT has won a one-time, five-year, $207 million order to design, maintain and modernize the Department of Veterans Affairs’ network security and network transportation services.
The Network Engineering, Design, Implementation and Infrastructure Support Task Order will require Salient CRGT to assist VA in transitioning its computing and telecommunications platforms to the cloud, advancing the department’s modernization efforts, the company said Tuesday.
The contractor will also support a range of offices within VA, including the Office of Information and Technology, Security Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, and Network Operations.
The task order was awarded under the VA Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation contract.
Salient CRGT CEO Tom Ferrando said the company has experience in the department’s complex IT environment and stakeholders, and the contract expands the scope and services of its mission-critical VA support. .
Price continues Salient CRGT’s work with VA, following a previous contract to provide the department with IT configuration management services.
